Taken from the 2013 album Racines (Rencontres de Deux Mondes), the Swiss-based World Music / Ethno Rock band Espacio Infinito just released a refreshed and newly aligned version of the superb track Aremù Odùdùwà.
Afro-Cuban flavors mingle with rock. Smooth, sensual vocals counter metal sounds. And all this embedded in a tasty, melodic mix of guitars, bass, piano, keyboards, percussion and drums. A track that will worm its way into your conscience and follow you around.
The clip was taken inside the Club ‘Les Prisons’ in the beautiful medieval city of Moudon / Switzerland. The band would like to extend its gratitude and appreciation to the staff of the club for their outstanding assistance to make this video a reality.
Espacio Infinito formed in 2011 and relatively quickly started to release new material, notably the aforementioned album. After a number of promising live performances, the band had to take a hiatus. Espacio Infinito now starts its activities yet once again, with this newly published video and new material in preparation.
The line-up for Aremù Odùdùwà:
- Vladimir Napoles – bass, vocals, chorus, arranger, musical director
- Rafael Ferre – vocals & chorus
- Stephanie Küffer – piano & keyboard
- Lawrence Lina – guitar
- Julio Cesar Pinillo – keyboard
- Laurent Weber – drums
- Alexander Napoles – percussion folk & chorus
